Who is Captain Recycle?
Captain Recycle
is a trained actor dressed up like a futuristic super hero, whose mission is
to teach youngsters to become good stewards of the environment that they
live in, to develop the habit of recycling. The Captain's important message, delivered in a very entertaining way,
is to practice the 3 R's' -- REDUCE,
REUSE, RECYCLE.
What
age groups are usually targeted to receive this program?
The Captain
Recycle program is designed for pre-school through 3rd grade levels
Who
sponsors the Captain Recycle program?
Underwriters
of the program include foundations, civic groups, businesses, PTA's and
PTO's, and other organizations who share the need for more efficient use of
our natural resources and understand the importance of teaching youngsters
to develop solid recycling habits
